Support

Contact us through the form for help, and for account or data deletion requests. Say which business you are with and we will pick it up.

CLTimeTracker

CLTimeTracker is the staff app for the time and attendance module. Your employer sets it up; you sign in with the account they give you.

Installing it

iPhone. CLTimeTracker is distributed through TestFlight while it is in testing. Your employer sends you a TestFlight invitation; install the TestFlight app from the App Store, open the invitation, and install CLTimeTracker from there. TestFlight tells you when a new build is available.

Android. Your employer gives you an APK to install directly. Android asks you to allow installs from that source the first time. A Google Play listing will follow; when it does, updates will come through Play instead.

Your account and your data

Your employer is the party responsible for your records under the Privacy Act, so start with them for access, correction or deletion. You can also ask us directly through the contact form or at info@cadloft.co.nz; the questions below say how each request is handled. Deleting your account and your data sets out exactly what is removed and what the law requires us to keep.

Common questions

Why does the app ask for my location?

Clock-ins and clock-outs are recorded with your location so the entry can be matched to the job site you are at. The app does not record your location at any other time. A shift location feature is coming: if your employer switches it on, the app will share your location roughly every ten minutes between clock-in and clock-out, and will ask for background location permission (Always Allow on iPhone, Allow all the time on Android) before it starts. Until then, Allow While Using App is all it needs.

Why is there a persistent notification on Android?

When shift location sharing arrives, Android will require the app to show an ongoing notification for as long as it uses your location in the background. It will appear when you clock in and disappear when you clock out, so you can always see that sharing is on. Today the app shows no such notification.

Something is wrong with my hours. Who fixes it?

Your employer can see and correct your time entries in their admin app. Speak to your manager or office first; if they cannot resolve it, contact us through the form on this site or at info@cadloft.co.nz with the business name and the dates concerned.

How do I ask for my personal data to be deleted?

Your employer is the party responsible for your records under the Privacy Act, and in most cases they should handle your request. If you would rather ask us directly, use the contact form or email info@cadloft.co.nz from the address on your account with the name of your employer. We will confirm the request with them, remove your personal data, and tell you when it is done. Records an employer must keep by law, such as payroll and wage records, are retained for the period the law requires. The full list of what is removed and what is kept is at cadloft.co.nz/delete-account.

How do I get a copy of my information, or have it corrected?

Ask through the contact form or at info@cadloft.co.nz. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it, and we respond within 20 working days.
