Why this, and why here
In most small New Zealand businesses the owner is also the back office. The person who priced the job on Tuesday is chasing the supplier on Wednesday and doing the timesheets on Sunday night. None of it is the work the business is good at, and all of it has to happen.
Software built for large companies assumes someone is paid to run it. It is priced that way and shaped that way, and it arrives with a project plan. A five-person factory has none of that, so the most useful new technology reaches the businesses that need the help least, and reaches the rest years later, if at all.
That gap is the reason cadloft exists. We would rather the newest tools turned up in a five-person factory in the same year they turn up in a corporate.

The tools
One set of records for a small manufacturer’s back office: quoting, jobs, purchasing, stock, supplier invoices, documents and staff time. They are built so an AI agent can work inside them, drafting, pricing, filing and reminding, while a signed-in person approves anything that leaves the business.
What the agent can reachThe engineers
Nobody in a small business has time to become the AI person, so we do that part. We map how your back office actually works, set the agent up on it, connect the systems you already run, and stay through the first months until your team is running it.
How an engagement runsWho we work with
New Zealand manufacturers first, because that is where our tools go deepest: kitchen manufacturers, joinery workshops, and the trades that make to order alongside them. Construction project management, accounting firms and immigration advisers work on the same platform.
